I didn’t start as a designer – I began as an engineer, curious about how technology works. Along the way, I discovered what truly inspired me wasn’t the tech itself but how people use it, feel it, and experience it. That shift led me from engineering labs to the world of human-centered design.

Beginning with engineering, I developed analytical and problem-solving skills, which later evolved through my studies in human-technology interaction and UX into a deeper understanding of user behavior, usability, and human-centered design.

Beyond Work
Outside of design, I’m deeply passionate about cricket. I’ve been playing club cricket in Finland for over 8 years and have had the honor of representing the Finland national team in several international tournaments. Cricket keeps me grounded, competitive, and connected to a diverse community.
I also run a YouTube channel ‘Shoaib Qureshi’ with 7,000+ subscribers, where I share my journey to Finland, insights on studying abroad, scholarship opportunities, and everyday life as an international student and professional here. Helping people through my experiences has become a meaningful part of my life and identity. Other than that, I like to run, explore nature, and take photographs.
